Ficus lyrata - Fiddle Leaf Fig

Or 10 interest free payments from $6.50 with What's this?

One of the most popular indoor pot plants! Not the easiest to look after, but once you develop a routine with your Fiddle Leaf Fig it will thrive. Makes the most impressive visual impact!

* Please note that Fiddle Leaf Fig Trees are particularly sensitive to environmental changes. They will likely take a little time to adjust to their new home. Be sure to follow the care instructions, and don’t panic if yours loses a few leaves.

Pot diameter: 20cm Growers Pot. Approximately 50cm tall from bottom of pot to top leaf. Please note that this does not fit any of our ceramic cover pots.

Light levels: Fiddle-leaf figs require bright, filtered light to grow and look their best. They don't like hot direct sun, this will burn the leaves.

Watering: The Fiddle Leaf Fig likes its soil to be kept consistently evenly moist, with a brief drying out period between waterings. Too little water and the leaves will loose their deep green colour and wilt. Too much water and it can cause the leaves to drop. During the growing season (spring to autumn), water your fiddle-leaf fig when the top inch of soil feels dry. And over the winter months, water slightly less.

Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 16-29 degrees and loves humidity.

Feeding: Use a high-nitrogen plant food throughout the spring and summer months.

Growing: In the right conditions, this Fiddle Leaf Fig is a reasonably fast growing plant which can reach up to 3 metres in height. Will grow towards the light, a good idea to rotate the plant.

Toxicity: These plants are considered toxic if ingested so it’s important to keep them away from children and pets.

Air purifying: With its lush green leaves, this plant is a great air purifier which helps to eliminate toxins from the home.
