What's not to love about the Chain of Hearts? This beautiful trailing semi-succulent vine with its small heart-shaped leaves is perfect for a hanging basket of spilling over a shelf. It is reasonably tolerant of neglect and easy to look after.

PLANT CARE & INFO

Light levels: The chain of hearts prefers bright levels of light but does not do well in direct sunlight.

Watering: Water sparingly as this plant can be prone to root rot, it is best kept slightly moist but should almost completely dry out between waterings.

Climate: Best suited to average indoor conditions of around 18-24 degrees.

Feeding: This plant only requires a light fertiliser through the summer months.

Growth: This trailing plant can grow long hanging stems of up to a massive two metres in length and it is a reasonably fast growing plant. Prune to make a fuller plant. 

Toxicity: While this plant isn’t highly toxic it is best to keep it out of reach for children and pets.
